Sarah Savelkoul
(ABC 6 NEWS) -- Soccer has always been Sarah Savelkoul's thing.
"I think I've been playing since three of four," Savelkoul said. "I started at the YMCA, and then I went to Park and Rec, and now, I actually coach both of those."
As a junior on the Albert Lea soccer team, she gets to share the game with her sister.
"I would consider her my best friend," Hannah Savelkoul said. "It's a really good experience, because we push each other, both on and off the field."
"We do work well together," Sarah said.
As a midfielder, Sarah single-handedly helped the Tigers win their invitational two weeks ago, doing everything from scoring game-winning goals to controlling the field.
"She's pro-active, rather than reactive," Albert Lea coach Rick Barnhill said. "Her speed of thought and speed of action is always pretty quick in most situations."
