Email to a FriendGroundbreaking Today for Early Childhood Education Center
(ABC 6 NEWS) -- There is a groundbreaking in Austin Wednesday afternoon to support education.
Riverland Community College will be the site of a new early childhood education center.
The new center will combine the two Austin Apple Lane sites into one.
It will serve more than 300 children of college students and working parents.
The center is expected to be in operation starting June of 2013.
15 children will help break ground near Riverland's west building at 2:45p.m.
