(ABC 6 NEWS) -- It wasn't pretty Saturday afternoon, but it was a win.
The RCTC Yellowjackets needed a safety in the final two minutes and a touchdown with two seconds left to beat Mesabi Range 8-7 this weekend.
"We escaped with that (win)," Yellowjackets head coach Derrick Hintz said. "I told the team, 'If it any given point you would have given up, we would have lost that game.' But we stayed together for 60 minutes, and in the end, the football Gods were kind to us."
RCTC (4-1) plays on the road at MSCTC-Fergus Falls next Saturday.
