Email to a FriendMason City Stabbing Suspect Arrested
(ABC 6 News) -- A man accused of stabbing another man in the neck in Mason City Saturday, has been arrested.
It happened in the southwest part of town Saturday afternoon.
Police say the victim had a life-threatening stabbing injury on his neck. He was taken to Mercy Hospital East Campus, and had to undergo emergency surgery. He is currently in stable condition.
Police searched for the suspect for nearly six hours. The suspect was considered armed and dangerous.
They found the man, arrested him, and he is being held on charges of Willful Injury, a class "C" felony.
