Need to Report a Pothole? There's an App for That

Coon Rapids residents can now report non-emergency problems in the community through a new software program.

“SeeClickFix” allows residents to report potholes, street light problems, or other issues via computers or smart phones.

Community members who download the mobile app can describe the problem, provide the location, and attach a photo.

The information is then sent to the city’s request system so staff members can be notified.

For those who don’t have smart phones, the problems can be reported the same way using the software on the city’s website at coonrapidsmn.gov.

According to city officials, Coon Rapids is the first city in the state to use this new software tool.

Mobile apps can be downloaded from the Apple App Store, Android market, Blackberry App World, or at coonrapidsmn.gov. The app is free.
