(ABC 6 News) -- Only a few more weeks of Excellent Educators for the rest of the school year.
This week Lynae Dahlum of Albert Lea is honored.
Lynae Dahlum teaches special education at Southwest Middle school. On average she teaches 7-8 special education students every year and she's been doing it for over 15 years.
"We work on major functional skills like like laundry, shopping, cooking, things that will help them in the future," says Dahlum.
"I couldn't think of anything else i'd rather do, they have touched me."
She has touched them as well..
