Sam Champion, Weather Anchor on the award winning ABC Good Morning America program will be live in Albert Lea this Wednesday along with local ABC 6 Good Morning Anchor Melanie Bloom and Meteorologist Steve Sosna. Champion will focus on the distinction of Albert Lea being the first city in the United States to be selected for the AARP/Blue Zones® Vitality Project. Viewers can look forward to on-the-scene coverage and interviews with local Blue Zone representatives. ABC 6 News was on site today when Ty Pennington and the design team from EMHE surprised the DeVries family from Albert Lea. The DeVries family’s home will be demolished and rebuilt in 7 days of round-the-clock construction. ABC 6 News will be there with live reports and continuous coverage, including exclusive aerial footage from the ABC News helicopter.
