“I’ve lived in Minnesota my entire life, but truly feel like Southeast Minnesota is my home.  Each city in this region holds a special place in my heart.  I’ve met some amazing people, and have covered stories highlighting great times and devastating times in these communities.  I am truly humbled to be a voice for others, and am thankful the community has welcomed me into their homes each weekday morning,” says Rachel.

In addition to her anchoring and reporting duties, Rachel is an active supporter of community events and area non-profits.

“There are so many driven and amazing people in the Southeast Minnesota/North Iowa area, who do whatever it takes to help their neighbors.  We live in a unique region, where compassion and hard work are not difficult to find,” says Rachel.

Rachel and her husband Eric have two sons.  Both boys keep them busy with an endless list of activities.  When they’re able to “get away”, Rachel says her family enjoys traveling north to the family cabin, watching the Minnesota Wild, and exploring Minnesota.

You can watch Rachel weekdays from 5-7 a.m. on ABC 6 News Good Morning.
