(ABC 6 News) – A Rochester teen was killed in a three-vehicle crash in Vermillion Township.

According to the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies responded to a head-on crash involving three vehicles on Northfield Blvd ¼ mile south of 210th Street East.

The driver of one of the vehicles, 18-year-old Ruweyda Fowsi Said was pronounced deceased on scene. Two occupants in the same vehicle were transported via ambulance with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.

At approximately 7:00 p.m. Friday night 12/29/23, Dakota County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a head-on crash involving three vehicles on Northfield Blvd ¼ mile south of 210th Street East in Vermillion Township.

The driver of a second vehicle that was hit head-on, and sustained apparent non-life-threatening injuries was also transported to the hospital. The occupants of the third vehicle involved reported minor injuries.

Currently, the cause of the crash is under investigation by the Minnesota State Patrol.

A Rochester teen was killed in a car crash on Friday night in Vermillion Township, Minn.

According to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner, 18-year-old Ruweyda Fowsi was driving on Northfield Boulevard near 210th St. E around 7 p.m.

The Medical Examiner notes that Fowsi died from multiple blunt force injuries in a motor vehicle collision.

There are no additional details regarding the crash available at this time.
